What Exactly is a UFO?

Written by saucers.info
Definition of a UFO is by its very nature obscure because a UFO is known only as an unidentified flying object that appears suddenly in the skies.

The fact is that most of these sightings are readily identified as aircraft, weather balloons and other common manmade objects or birds, cloud formations and various natural phenomenon. Thus being explained, they  quickly lose the status of 'unidentified'.

However, a small percentage of reported sightings remain unexplained and can not be ascribed to fiction. Some of these objects have been tracked by radar or seen and even photographed by multiple witnesses. It is difficult to disbelieve groups of credible and sober people who all claim they saw the same thing.

Most reports state that these objects have unique profiles such as glowing orbs, cigar shapes, triangles, disks and saucers without wings or engines that are able to move quickly in any direction without sound. Some display flashing lights or windows, others do not. Such configurations are not typical of anything that can be considered 'normal aircraft'.

So it remains a fact that there are some unknown things in our skies. Are these flying objects visitors from outer space, another planet or solar system or simply hallucinations?

Until such time as a UFO is actually on the ground or strong evidence exists, backed by tangible proof, there will be more skeptics than believers in unidentified flying objects.
