UFO and Alien Commercial Big Business Industry |

As everyone knows, kids are addicted to the TV from early on and space alien adventure stories are a favorite - the weirder the better. It is therefore no wonder that savvy manufacturers got into the act early to produce all types of UFO toys based on popular TV shows in the form of fictional characters from Star Wars, The Alien and other productions that fascinate kids. Every time a new and well promoted film or show about space, aliens, flying saucers or spaceships comes out, there is another fresh market because most kids are nuts about some fictional space character that exhibits a more expressive countenance than known weirdoes. Sometimes all it takes is another set of eyeballs or a few more tentacles or antennas to create the newest best-selling hero. There are space alien products and toys for every age group of children, beginning with the babe in arms up to teenagers and a lot of times older but wannabe teenagers. Just take a look at the cartoons and hard graphics on breakfast cereals, snacks and junk food that depict little green men, flying saucers and other silly nonsense - it's enough to make you sick. To top it all off, many schools and preschools encourage youngsters to express their 'artistic talents' by drawing or painting and otherwise reproducing these ridiculous space creatures in 'art' classes. But profitability does not stop at toys. Browse the children's department in any store and you will find kids shoes, clothing, bedding and even wallpaper dedicated to aliens. Lunchboxes, school and preschool supplies such as notebooks, folders, pens and pencils and other items sport pictures promoting newly created or older but still popular outer space creatures and their surroundings. It's a known fact that parents can't resist their kids' pleading for the newest fad - so therefore the UFO and space alien toys and other product manufacturers will continue to prosper. Of course, things could be worse. At least there appears to be a minimum of blood and gore in the alien and UFO for profit industry compared to other TV shows kids are exposed to on a daily basis.
